City Clerk asked about the Arbor Day Grant. New trees will be looked into.
TREASURER’S REPORT (action items)
March Finance Report
A motion to approve the March Finance Report was made by Councilman Wells, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
Reconciliation Report
A motion to approve the Reconciliation Report was made by Councilman Butters, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
ROADS
Mayor Davies said he replaced a couple lights on the grader. Next week, he’d like to blast open side streets. Councilman Miles discussed Clouder St. and getting that open for a landowner.
IRRIGATION
Councilman Wells reported: Irrigation fees are being collected for the year. The power from the pole to main pump house is top priority since it was planned and approved last year. This year Councilman Wells would like to run new pipe to the siphon. Water flow is restricted due to root infiltration. He is waiting until spring to turn on the system.
Councilman Butters noticed snowmobilers going across the pond. There are concerns about having to pull them out if they break through. Mayor Davies discussed putting up signs.

Councilman Barber brought up a correction that needed to be made on one of the properties. Mayor Davies asked for other inquiries. There were none.

Councilman Miles had a question about interments.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mayor Davies brought up purchasing a lawn mower. Councilman Miles had a question about equipment and the lawn mowing contract.
Councilman Butters asked about other contractors.
Councilman Butters announced that he is running for County Commissioner for District 3.
Councilman Miles looked into a grant opportunity for the pavilion. She would like more information. Mr. Bourret was in attendance to help clarify details. Councilman Barber has been working on grant writing so may be able to help.
CONSTITUENT INPUT
Mr. Bourret discussed structure processes that have been around for centuries using heavy timbers. He gave several examples of projects. Council discussed the potential footprint and cost to help with the grant process.
Mayor Davies discussed the sale of the store and the parking lot issue. If the store sells then the current parking lot across the street may sell too. The city needs to consider purchasing the parking lot. The mayor has not heard from the property owner.
Warren Grover announced that he is running for County Commissioner for District 3. He gave details about his positions.
Gary and Glinda Jones had a question about cemetery plots.
