Mayor Davies has not heard back about the 2” overlay. It sounds like Placerville is not a high priority for the county. Another load of gravel has been ordered. Councilman Wells asked council about putting up barricades for the roads to help control fast traffic. Council also discussed construction in the city and the details that go along with that. There was a culvert on Granite that needs to be taken care of by the county.
Councilman Wells discussed the irrigation water. A valve was left on where water was running down the street. Some water users have not been conservative with the water. Council discussed fines for wasteful water. Council discussed a shut off date in light of the current overnight freezing temperatures.

Mayor Davies met with Idaho Power. Within the next 2 weeks Idaho Power will be bringing in a powerline. Next spring, they will go underground with the powerline that will continue over to Garden Valley. Within 3 weeks, logging will take place to create a pathway for the lines. There may be road closures due to dropping trees.
