A motion to Approve the Agenda was made by Councilman Butters, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
CITY CLERK
Approve Minutes: March 14, 2020 (action item)
A motion to approve the March Minutes was made by Councilman Waters, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
Approve Minutes: Emergency Meeting March 23, 2020 (action item)
A motion to approve the Emergency March Minutes was made by Councilman Butters, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
Approve Declaration “Proclaiming Existence of a Local Emergency” (action item)
A motion to approve the Declaration was made by Councilman Barber, Councilman Butters 2nd. Motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT
April Finance Report (action item)
A motion to approve the April Finances was made by Councilman Barber, Councilman Waters 2nd. Motion passed.
May Finance Report (action item)
There was a discrepancy in the May report that affected the April finances. A motion to unapproved the April Finances was made by Councilman Wells, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
2nd Quarter Report (action item)
No action taken.
ROADS
Tim and Betty Riley are moving ahead with the land swap and Idaho Power line. Paperwork will need to be filed with the county.
Mayor Davies addressed Clark Cassell about some issues with road and water and also information regarding the road maintenance contract.
IRRIGATION
Water is turned on and pipes are charged. There were some broken areas but have since been fixed. Materials have been ordered for the siphon. Councilman Wells discussed repairs and documentation he has been doing. Mayor Davies thanked Councilman Wells for all his work and attention to detail.
HISTORICAL
Museum was checked for damage after the earthquake but did not find any damage.
The Historical Society Meeting was cancelled due to the corona virus. Phoebe Cassell would be willing to be secretary. Councilman Barber would like to hold a meeting even if it’s in the park.
Commission Appointments (action item)
A motion to appoint Phoebe Cassell as Secretary was made by Councilman Wells, Councilman Barber 2nd. Motion passed.
CEMETERY
Councilman Waters discussed the cemetery activities. Pine needles have been raked up. There is a plan to take them to private property for burning. He had a question about repairing the broken headstones.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
None at this time.
CONSTITUENT INPUT
Phoebe talked about reinforcing the headstones and the ground.
Clark Cassell discussed grants that may be available for the cemetery. He also, discussed locating phone lines before major road work was done.
