There are a few weeks left until the museums will be closed up. It’s been a pretty good year with some good helpers. Some new items have been added. Finances are pretty good. There’s some work that was done on the Merc. Raffle tickets are still being sold for the quilt. Repairs for the buildings will make those funds deplete quickly. Historical is talking about doing some fundraising so repairs can be done. There was a discussion about city funds to help with the buildings. Historical typically takes care of building maintenance.
There have been some issues with too much water running down the roads. There is a need to have good contact numbers for property owners in case of an emergency with their system.
Some ashes will be sent to Councilman Meek for interment placement in the cemetery.
Mayor Davies asked about a new metal flag pole and pricing. Council discussed having like height but not too much shorter. Mr. Keefer knows of a gentleman that may have a new flagpole for sale for less.
