Mayor Davies did not plow this time in order to leave a bit of the snow as to prevent icier roads. Mayor Davies talked to Matt Houle and he’d like to snow blow the city roads. He would charge about $6,000-$8,000 per season. Council discussed equipment options. One option was presented – a skidsteer with a blower on it that may be able to be picked up locally. The fire department is putting snow removal up for bid.
HISTORICAL Councilman Barber discussed Ordinance 36 and the creation of the Historical Society. He will move forward with getting that done.
CEMETERY There was a discussion about having a group of kids to come over to clean.
There was a question about where to park the possible new equipment. Mayor Davies clarified the shed and how it was built for future expansion.
Clark Cassell is concerned that nobody has a copy of the bylaws for the Historical Commission. It appears that the bylaws are gone. There was a question as to where they are. Options were discussed about how documents should be stored. Discussed the Historical Commission and what needs to be done.
Council Discussed what would happen if there was a fire call and two of the councilmen had to leave.
