Councilman Arnold was pleased with the account balances. There are some repairs that need to be completed on the ceiling. There was a discussion about when to do the repairs as items will need to be removed away from the repair area. Councilman Arnold would like to get some paint for the building. More volunteers are needed for the museums.
Councilman Wells discussed updates on the irrigation projects. The float is working well. Upcoming projects-the siphon needs work.
Financial Update-past due accounts
Council discussed the accounts and shut off valves.
A new headstone has been placed. A plot has been paid for. There was a question about the accuracy of the cemetery records. Councilman Wells found a headstone that was not on the records. It would be a good idea to verify records of the past.

Mayor Davies wanted to thank the whole fire crew for the fantastic fireworks show this year.
George Butters-Fire Information
Mr. Butters reported that a crew from IDL was on hand for the fireworks.
Mr. Butters asked council to consider accepting the county-wide burn ban within the city and explained the details. It reduces open burn to just recreational fires. He gave a specific description. The fire department would enforce the ban. There could be up to a $1,000 fine. The sheriff would also be involved.
Mr. Butters brought information from, Bob Showalter, the County Emergency Manager. He would like information for the LEPC – Local Emergency Planning Committee. He wants information on the preparedness of the community. He spoke about fire suppression and doing some thinning of properties. He’d like official representation at the LEPC meetings.
Phoebe had a positive comment about the organization skills of the clerk and keeping council on track.
