CALL TO ORDER: 10:00 AM

Approve Minutes: January 20, 2018
A motion to approve the minutes as amended was made by Councilman Wells, Councilman Meek 2nd. Motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
February Finance Report
A motion to approve the February Finance Report was made by Councilman Arnold, Councilman Cassel 2nd. Motion passed.
ROADS:
Councilman Arnold has been running the road grader. The belly blade has been working well. There are no issues to report at this point.
IRRIGATION:
Mayor Davies asked about getting the pump rebuilt.
Irrigation accounts were previewed. A motion to approve the Assessment Roll was made by Councilman Wells, Councilman Arnold 2nd. Motion passed.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Mayor Davies discussed the CUMO Mine project. Idaho City made a resolution. The Idaho City mayor asked Placerville to consider a resolution about support for the CUMO Mine project. Council discussed options, pros, and cons. The environment, history, animals, and vegetation were discussed. Council would like to see more investigation completed before a decision is made. Mayor Davies will see what information the Idaho City mayor has and will share with council. Council and Mayor would like to see how exactly this will impact the area and the plan for reclamation.
Councilman Wells brought up the idea of a comprehensive plan.
Mayor Davies talked about the Idaho Rally. They have pulled out of Placerville as the main hub due to an increase in growth of the racing. The date has been changed to September 15 and 16th. They’ll still be racing in the area but Placerville will not be the hub. There will be a refueling station in Placerville.
Mayor Davies brought up the city website. The website hosting has been paid for. The addresses are placervilleidaho.org, placervilleidaho.net. They are not set up at this time but are being worked on.
Councilman Arnold discussed Historical and some upcoming meetings. He suggested some cleaning days. The locks have been changed. Gary Jones has the old cowboy tub at his house. He will be redoing it and then it will be up for display. Councilman Arnold would also like to add some lighting in the Merc.
George Butters is running for Boise County Commissioner District 3.
CONSTITUENT INPUT:
Melody Stearns asked about the roads and gravel on the icy areas.
Chuck Stearns added comments about the CUMO Mine project.
