APPROVE AGENDA
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Councilman Meek, Councilman Arnold 2nd. Motion passed.

CITY CLERK
Approve Minutes: February 17, 2018
A motion to approve the minutes was made by Councilman Wells, Councilman Meek 2nd. Motion passed.

TREASURER’S REPORT
March Finance Report- A motion to approve the Finance Report was made by Councilman Arnold, Councilman Cassel 2nd. Motion passed.

ROADS
Roads are in pretty good shape. There is snow that needs to be plowed.

McDevitt Road is a city street.

HISTORICAL
Councilman Arnold announced that there would be a meeting after today’s city council meeting. All locks have been changed. If someone needs to show the museums, there is a key at the store for that purpose. He talked about possibly having extended hours during the summer and on the weekends. Ideas will be discussed at the Historical Meeting.

IRRIGATION
Councilman Wells would like to start repairing the dam as soon as the snow has disappeared. Two pumps were taken in for repair. Councilman Arnold talked to a gentleman about digging out the pond. Council discussed the equipment options. Councilman Wells discussed using some mats to help with stability.
CEMETERY
One plot has been sold.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mayor Davies brought up the Idaho City Resolution about supporting CUMO mine. Councilman Arnold would like to know more about the plan and impact on the roads from CUMO. There were some reservations about the support and then the future impact on the city.

CONSTITUENT INPUT
Steve Chesnut thought it was a good idea to table the idea of supporting the mine at this point and doing more research. He is for supporting the community and the protecting the road system. Mr. Chesnut wanted to know if the mine had an Impact Plan. It was suggested to check their website.

Councilman Cassel asked about the policing of the area if there are more people in the area.

George Butters suggested building an Impact Management Plan. There will be road issues and traffic issues. He suggested polling the constituents. Mr. Butters would like to see a committee put together to create an Impact Management Plan.

As far as an opinion poll goes, if you have property up here your opinion is important.

Mayor Davies announced that the city website is up and running. Chance Davies talked about the website. The websites are placervilleidaho.org, and Placervilleidaho.net. It is functioning and running. Brandon Chesnut discussed the price after one year and that it’s a good price. Mayor Davies asked about suggestions for photos for the website. He’d also like to have pictures of council and the clerk on the website. He’d like for people to be able to access contact information for the council members and mayor.
